We’re Changing Our Name: Kistler Sensors’ New Name Is Strain Systems Inc.

BELLEVUE, WA, May 21, 2012—Kistler Sensors Inc. is proud to announce that it is changing its company name to Strain Systems Inc. Though the name change is effective immediately, the full transition is expected to take several months. The company will continue to operate in its current structure, without interruption, with all employees, products, and services intact.

We made a name for ourselves in the silo weight and level measurement industry in a short period of time,” said Kennan Yilmaz, President of Strain Systems. “Now we want to ensure that, going forward, our identity in the marketplace encompasses all the activities we see in our long-term product roadmap and business plan.

Kistler Sensors was established to commercialize the latest industrial strain-measurement instrument, the patented StrainCell™ sensor, invented by longtime instrument inventor Walter Kistler, who is still involved with Strain Systems as inventor and chief technologist.

Our near-term focus continues to be silo inventory management,” said Yilmaz. “We are dedicated to being the industry leader in accurate, reliable, nonintrusive weight and level measurement solutions for bulk storage customers.

The company’s new website is http://www.strainsystems.com, though kistlersensors.com will continue in service through 2012. Likewise, former email addresses using kistlersensors.com will continue to be operational, though new email addresses for company personnel are being implemented (firstname.lastname@strainsystems.com).

Strain Systems Inc. offers silo inventory management using the latest technology in bolt-on strain-measurement sensors. StrainCell™ sensors install with a single screw and provide fully temperature-compensated, highly accurate, nonintrusive, continuous weight and level measurement of bulk storage materials. Measurement readings are viewable onsite or anywhere in the world via Internet-enabled intelligent electronics. The company is headquartered in Bellevue, WA USA.
