Strain Systems now provides silo level measurement solutions based on its StrainCell™ technology. Single silo or silo farm – our level solutions ensure the highest-performance inventory management in the market, providing nonintrusive, turnkey, integrated, and continuous monitoring of bulk-storage levels, locally or remotely.

SOLO™-L is designed for single silos. ENSEMBLE™-L serves silo farms, with the convenience of monitoring up to four silos from a single electronics touch screen display. Both systems are easy to install, calibrate, and operate.

Unlike other level measurement devices, Strain Systems’ level indicators are completely unhampered by angle of repose, material density changes, wave reflection, or dust clouds within the silo. Proven accuracies are better than 1% of full scale on legged silos and 3–4% on selected skirted silos. Our patented StrainCell sensors produce temperature-compensated, omni-directional strain readings that are the most accurate, repeatable, and sensitive in the market.

Each StrainCell installs with a single bolt on the leg or skirt of a silo. Connected to our intelligent electronics, the sensors relay continuous level readings displayed on a touch screen. Readings do not require any additional conversion tables or calculations.

Designed for maximum operator convenience, the electronics display can be installed at the plant or thousands of miles away; it can be monitored from anywhere worldwide; and, in the case of the ENSEMBLE-L, the four silos per screen do not have to share a location.

Remote access to readings is available via Android Smartphones or PCs from anywhere in the world. Ethernet interface is included, enabling integration into a computer network for communication with any Ethernet-capable device or software platform.
